I had signed up for the spring inspection. Unfortunately they found my two units needed some maintenance. I ended up replacing one and Force Home Services was quick on the job to get it replaced. Friendly repairman, not sure if it was a fair price as I did not compare with any other company. I am a member of their company so I did get a discount. I can't complain about their service or their office team as they have been excellent on returning phone calls or accommodating my needs. I’m acquainted with the plumbing side of Force Home Services. My initial call was about a leaky outside spigot, installation of 2 bathroom faucets, and a possible leak in an incoming water line. Michael B. listened as I shared my list of needed plumbing repairs, looked at the meter and advised that rather than an exterior leak, the toilets should be inspected to see about the necessity of replacing the flapper. This reminded me of the advanced age of the toilets and my concern regarding the integrity of the seals.
So I signed up for a package deal that included the installation of my faucets, two toilets, and a spigot repair. Michael made a supply run, returned with an assistant, and they got busy. The first toilet was determined to remain in place, so the master plumber (MP) was called in to assist. While waiting for his arrival, they worked on the faucets.
Responding quickly to the call, the MP made an attempt to remove the toilet with the goal of not breaking it. It defied even his expertise and the appropriate measures were taken. Exit stubborn toilet pursued by a plumber. A problem with the flange was exposed necessitating unexpected repair and further expenses to this homemaker, but, with kind explanations and approval, toilet #1was soon installed. On to toilet #2. It exited with hoped for ease to the delight of all only to reveal a flange with serious issues. It sat about 2 inches below the floor with said gap neatly walled in by cement.
Someone did a very neat job of not meeting code with this little make-do. The MP provided an on-site tutorial explaining the work involved, to begin the following day with breaking out concrete, replacing the flange, pouring new concrete, letting it cure, coming back the next day to install the toilet. Of course you know what I saw as I looked into that hole, so you can probably guess what I said. Expensive!
So, the tutorial continued with an iPad and numbers, and it added up to a much more reasonable sum than anticipated. And they got busy and work got done. When day three rolled around for the final installment I’d reached a couple of conclusions: toilet #1 leaked, & the seat was defective. Michael B. fixed the leak & replaced both seats, then completed installation #2. Success!
Take-aways: great plumbers, excellent customer service (except for 1 receptionist), clean- wore shoe covers inside, & cleaned up area as they went, surprisingly reasonable rates, and all the parts I purchased from them & all the labor is covered by warranty. While this project snowballed unexpectedly, they didn’t try to take financial advantage of it, and they were upbeat and kind all three days. I also appreciated the safety precaution of contacting me when their representative was en route with his picture included.
I highly recommend Force Home Services when an outside spigot needs repair, and for any other plumbing needs like faucets, flanges, & new toilets.

Milton was punctual and did a Thorough check on my 3 units. I would recommend Force Home Service to anyone wanting to do annual checks on  there HVAC and heating units as a preventive measure.
